Go Green in the Country !

This year we are putting ‘Green activity days’ together, We hope to inspire, educate, support and challenge companies to continually improve the impact they have on society and the environment through their responsible business programme, this is known as corporate social responsibility( CSR)  so for a change why not try a Conservation day, a fishing event with catch and release policy, a community day, or a walking and climbing event.  All fantastic fun and you’ll be doing your bit to help the environment…. We’ll even locate an Eco friendly Green Hotel... Here's some activites to tempt you:

Fishing Events – with a catch and release policy
Set in beautiful surroundings our fly fishing events you will learn the craft of casting, the knowledge of the fishes diet the skill of catching and landing fish and now on our catch and release policy. Fishing is a wonderful antidote to the stresses of busy lifestyles. So many different days to choose from, a day fly fishing for sea bass or fishing for large carp. This has to be a true fisherman's dream so please come and join us and fish in clear waters.

Falconry Awareness Days
The awareness and conservation days can be tailored to your requirements, bearing in mind what you would like to achieve. The courses are designed to cover the skills, equipment and facts necessary for an individual to be competent to look after a bird of prey, and  inclusive of the following:-

Housing and furniture
Equipment and leatherworking
Food preparation and diet
Health and hygiene
Biology and physiology
Weight control
Handling
Training
Hunting

Climbing and Abseiling
Set in the stunning location of the Lake district overlooking the shore of Lake Ullswater. After instruction in the climbing equipment, the group becomes responsible for the belaying of its own members- The fact that the safety of those climbing is very directly in the hands of the members of the same group is excellent team building!

Up in the Hills

Choose team building activities to suit your group such as walking and orienteering and cycling,and then leave it up to us to manage. We can designed an imaginative programme of easy and guided walking/ hiking day /cycling tours in the most beautiful and romantic landscapes. Make your day a special and memorable experience:Our activities are intended to suit a basic level of fitness and mobility but can readily be adapted to specific requirements of the group.

All packages includes a guide for the day, picnic or map to the nearest pub, all necessary equipment, laughter and lots of team spirit.

Daffy Ducks and clever Collies
You are in command of a group of daffy ducks and a very intelligent Sheep dog (or should that be duck dog?).

By using special voice commands you will herd Donald and friends, over, around and through various obstacles. ”Hilarious”, See it to believe it!

Ye Medieval Archery..... will be set in the Kings grounds.
The honoured guests will have an opportunity to shoot 5 different bows: The English Longbow, American Indian Flat Bow, the composite bow and the re-curve bow.(the marvels of medieval times)
